I went back to my college dorm today - classes start tomorrow. I have English 101 tomorrow (9:55 AM, meaning getting up at 8 o_o), and that's it; usually I will also have Physics lab, but (the website's already confirmed that) there won't be lab until after the first lecture, just like last semester. Been in a bit of a foul mood all day.

( Mostly because I wish people would shut up about stuff, but of course they won't. )

I've started re-doing the icons I'm using for my personal journal, like I wanted to.  I'm only partway done, and I need to actually pick what I want my other ones to be, but... yeah.  I'm self-imposing a maximum of two icons per series now, I think - much as I love GX, I shouldn't overrun my icons completely with it.  ^^  I like my new Haibane  ( Read more... )

I came up with a metaphor for myself today.

I am a Shiny Hoothoot.  Or, in Japanese, something along the lines of わたしは色違いのホーホーです.  (Though, the characters for 'alternate colored' and Hoothoot's Japanese name were copy-pasted from Bulbapedia, so I don't know if they're right...)  Ask why, and I'll explain, but not here.
